Get ready to paddle! The Long Lake Long Boat Regatta is returning on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
For almost two decades, Long Lake has proudly hosted the finale of the Adirondack Race Series. The Northern Forest Canoe Trail closes out each year
by partnering with Long Lake Recreation & Tourism to host the Long Lake Long Boat Regatta.
The Regatta features three signature championship classes:
- The North American Voyageur Canoe Championships
- The Adirondack Kayak Championship
- The Northeastern College Cup race for co-ed (two male & two female) C-4 Stock teams
The course is a 10-mile figure eight, beginning and ending at the Long Lake Town Beach. The action starts bright and early with check-in at 9:30 AM, a safety meeting at 10:30 AM, and the race kicking off at 11:00 AM.
This will be followed by an awards ceremony and a chili lunch provided by Adirondack Hotel to benefit the Long Lake Lions and NFCT’s Northern Forest Explorers Youth Paddling Scholarship Fund.
