The Jamcrackers will join us on July 30th. With roots as deep as the tallest Adirondack pine tree, their music celebrates our region, the wilderness, and its people. This dynamic folk band is beloved for their “pickin’ on the front porch” style and combined expertise on guitar, piano, and concertina; the evening will feature a wide array of folk, blues, and ballads along with laughter and stories.
We’lll have public transportation available to St. William’s for our Thursday programs. Trips are first-come first-served, so be at the town dock by 5:30 pm. You may also dock at the church to enjoy the concert from the comfort of your own boat or sit on the lawn with a blanket or chairs. Concerts will start at 6:30 pm and run for about an hour. We’ll have locally-made pies to raffle every Thursday, as well as journals, handmade pottery, driftwood designs, and other merchandise available for purchase. In case of rain, the show will go on at the Raquette Lake Chapel in town, just up the hillside from the W.W. Durant.
