The Town of Long Lake Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department invites riders of all ages and abilities to kick off the 2026 mountain biking season at Mt. Sabattis on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The free community meet-up will begin at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion, located at 46 Pavilion Lane in Long Lake, with complimentary coffee and pastries available for participants throughout the morning.

Riders are encouraged to explore the growing Mt. Sabattis trail network, featuring seven trails with over 5 km (3+ miles) to explore, including an outstanding jump line, beginner-friendly flow trails, machine-built rollers and berms, progressive jump features, scenic climbing routes, and more technical expert terrain.Whether participants are brand new to mountain biking or experienced riders looking to reconnect with the trails after winter, the event is designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and fun.

The pavilion will serve as the central gathering location for the event, with riders able to access trails directly from the pavilion area or head to the lower trailhead for the climbing trail and additional route connections.

The Mt. Sabattis trail system offers a mix of flow, technical riding, and family-friendly terrain close to the center of Long Lake.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes, helmets, water, and trail-ready gear.
