The Town of Long Lake is updating its Comprehensive Plan with guidance from the Lake Champlain/Lake George Regional Planning Board. The LCLGRPB studies the needs and conditions of the region to develop strategies that enhance communities. The Lake Champlain – Lake George Regional Planning Board is a regional planning and development organization that represents five counties in Upstate New York.

The review and adoption of the Long Lake Comprehensive Plan will be a year-long process and will include collecting information, holding stakeholder meetings, and revising the plan to reflect recent changes and new opportunities in our community.

The current Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 2021, focused on these goals: Recreation, Infrastructure, Critical Services, Economic Development and Tourism, Housing, Transportation, Environmental Resources, Beautification, and Community Initiatives.

Now we need your input. Please take a few minutes to complete the attached survey and share your thoughts on the priorities for the revised plan. With so much change happening, your voice is essential in helping to guide Long Lake into the future.
