    Bringing back a Long Lake tradition! Starting at 1pm at the Geiger Arena kids and adults of all ages can compete in skating races for a chance to win prizes, trophies, and bragging rights. Channel your inner Apolo Ohno or Eric Heiden (for you older adults) and speed around the Long Lake rink, helmets and skates furnished for any who do not have their own. Divisions for all ages. Sponsored by the Town of Long Lake.

    It's the first annual Opening Party for the Adirondack Local Culture Program. Join Educator Attendant Rebecca Stoner LaFountain at the Geiger Arena at the Mt. Sabattis Recreation Center for the kick off from Noon until 4pm on Saturday, November 16th. Enjoy roller blading on the new, smooth ice rink surface, explore a maze. Other family friendly activities include letterboxing, a Community Craft, and get some excersie and explore the Sabattis Trails open for hiking and biking. Mentor and sponsor checkin's will be happening for the Adirondack Local Culture Program. Donations accepted.

    630pm. Geiger Arena/Mt Sabattis Recreation Area. Start out Winter Wonderland Week with a pizza party sponsored by the Town of Long Lake Parks & Rec. Department at the Geiger Arena from 630-10pm. Enjoy free skating and sledding under the stars, with a bonfire in our custom Long Lake fire pit, and pizza and hot cocoa to warm you up.
