Sounds of Summer @ St. Williams on Long Point
630pm. On July 16th, get a little wild with Mad Agnes, a genre-bending acoustic music trio known for their signature intricate harmonies and compelling songwriting. While their music is broadly described as folk, their sound sometimes includes Celtic elements and fun vocal improv. Mad Agnes is noted for its passionate, inclusive performances, often using a single microphone to gather around, reminiscent of early radio style. They deliver new original songs and selections from their extensive catalog (13 albums and counting). You may even see them break out a ukulele or melodica. All Thursday evening programs will be at the church at St. William’s on Long Point. For this year’s programming, in case of rain, the show will go on at the Raquette Lake Chapel, located in town, just up the hillside from the W.W. Durant.
