On July 31st, Adirondack storytellers Jeannine Laverty & Dan Berggren join us for an evening of Adirondack music and folk tales. Laverty lives in Saratoga and has been telling international folks stories since the late 70s! You’ll have to join us to see what special tale she’ll share with us. Berggren is a songwriter and crafts the music behind the storytelling; his work speaks to home, hard work, taking care of our planet, and each other!
We are pleased to once again offer public transportation from the Raquette Lake Town Dock to St. William’s on Long Point for our programs this year!
🛶 Transportation Details:
Thanks to Raquette Lake Camps for supplying the barge and to Captain Michael Bartow for piloting. Please arrive at the Town Dock by 5:30 PM, as boarding is first-come, first-served. The boat will depart promptly at 6:00 PM.
⛪ Program Location & Times:
- Concerts take place at St. William’s on Long Point, an historic 1890 church building accessible by boat.
- Concert Start Time:6:30 PM
- Duration:Approximately one hour
- You are welcome to enjoy the concert from your own boat, dock at the church, or sit on the lawn with your blanket or chairs.
🥧 Special Note:
Each Thursday, we will raffle off homemade pies by our local baker. Don’t miss this delicious opportunity!

In case of rain, programs will be held at:
- Raquette Lake School(115 NY-28) on July 17
- Raquette Lake Chapel(just up the hillside from the W.W. Durant) on July 10, 24, and 31

The historic St. William’s Church is open from Memorial Day to early September. All are welcome to visit, ring the bell, and enjoy the peace and quiet of this special place.
