SUMMARY:Friends of Long Lake Music - Summer Series
DESCRIPTION:July 29th\, 2026 \nFriends of Long Lake Music – Summer Series \n\nThe Marquardt Violin Duo\, Christine Rosenburg and Janet Marquardt\, will perform in concert at the United Methodist Church in Long Lake on Wednesday\, July 29 at 7:30 p.m.   This sister duois from Pottstown\, PA and Stone Ridge\, NY. \nChristine started playing violin in third grade and 8 years later taught her younger sister\, Janet\, to play.  Over the years they have bonded with their music and now they each have students of their own. \nChristine has been teaching in Kingston\, NY public schools for 27 years.  Janet has a private studio where she teaches individual students and local orchestras and string ensembles. \nBoth sisters hold music related Master’s Degrees. \nThere is no charge for this concert\, but donations are appreciated. A reception to meet the artist will follow the concert.  This 2026 project is made possible in part\, with funds from Statewide Community Regrants  Program\, a regrants program on NYS Council of the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature and administered by the ADK Lake Center for the Arts.  Also supported by Stewarts Shoppes
